Our client the largest public sector university of the Pakistan having five campuses and rendering high quality education IT to more than 5,000 students from all over Pakistan.
The organization was seeking an integrated accounting system which can control all the accounting and peripheral activities of the university. The university has interested in having a integrated payroll module for preparing the payroll of more that 1,500 staff members from all of its campuses, a fee module to manage the fee of the students an inventory system to manage the stationary and consumable stores, a reporting tool to create management reports on line and the HEC (higher education commission) reports and at the end the consolidation of the accounts of all the campuses to generate consolidated financial statements.
Our client selected our flag ship product Time Right 2006 for time writing, payroll and consumable inventory management and for reporting Report Browser was integrated with the accounting system. A system analysis was conducted and the gaps were identified forming the basis of the customization of Time Right 2006 specific to our client’s needs. Analysis of the reporting requirement was carried out to finalize the number and formats of the reports. A full scale training session was conducted inviting accounts staff from all the campuses and the new chart of accounts was a discussed in detail and finalized after making approved changes. In the next phase follow-up training session was conducted at the campuses to the account staff addressing to their queries and giving training to the IT staff on maintenance of the software. |
